Cape Verdean Consulate in Boston announces voter registration for US residents
The Cape Verdean Consulate in Boston has begun mandatory voter registration for US residents who perform consular acts.
Boston, November 6, 2025 - The Consulate General of Cape Verde in Boston informs that the voter registration process is underway for all Cape Verdean citizens residing in the United States who perform any consular act at this post.
According to Article 79 of the Electoral Code, all nationals must be duly registered or update their electoral residency. The Consulate appeals for the community's cooperation, asking them to present the necessary documents at the time of the service.
The process aims to ensure that all Cape Verdeans abroad can exercise their right to vote in a regular and up-to-date manner.
